Ferris Wheel

This schematic is a large Ferris wheel built as a tall vertical ring, its outer rim traced out in a fine lattice of iron bars that give the wheel a light, open framework rather than a solid disc. Slender spokes radiate out from a central hub to hold the rim in place, and the whole structure is carried on a pair of angled support legs that plant it firmly on the ground. The pale metal frame keeps the wheel looking airy and skeletal, letting the shape of the circle stand out clearly against everything behind it.

Spaced evenly around the rim hang a set of enclosed cabins, each one built in a different bright color, with purple, orange, green, yellow, blue, and red cars giving the ride a cheerful carnival look as they ride around the wheel. At the base sits a small fairground stall topped with a red and white striped awning, and a low wooden fence rings the area with a set of steps leading up into it. Together the colorful cabins and the striped booth give the build a lively amusement park feel, ready to anchor a fairground, a boardwalk, or a theme park set piece.
