Flying Feather Mod

Flying Feather adds a craftable item that lets you launch into the air with a single right-click. It's a survival-friendly alternative to the elytra that doesn't require any commands or creative mode, and works fully with achievements enabled. After each launch, Slow Falling is automatically applied so you glide down safely rather than taking fall damage.

How It Works

Right-clicking or holding the screen on mobile propels you in the direction you're facing. From there, the Slow Falling effect kicks in and carries you smoothly to the ground. A settings menu accessible via the /voxen:flyf command lets you adjust flight speed on a slider from 1 to 10, and toggle both the launch particles and wing flap sound on or off depending on your preference.

Crafting

The Flying Feather is crafted at a standard crafting table by placing 4 Feathers in a plus shape with 1 Phantom Membrane in the center. Both materials are obtainable in survival without much trouble, making the item accessible fairly early in a playthrough. You can also use /voxen:feather to get one directly if needed.

It's a clean and well-rounded flight item that fills the gap between no flight options and the full elytra setup. The adjustable speed and toggle options give it enough flexibility to suit different playstyles without overcomplicating what is ultimately a simple and satisfying mechanic.
