Vita Carnis Addon brings the disturbing creatures from the analog horror series Vita Carnis into Minecraft, transforming survival into a genuinely creepy and challenging experience. These flesh-based entities spawn naturally throughout your world, each with unique behaviors and lifecycles that make them feel alive and unpredictable. The addon captures the unsettling atmosphere of the original series, where biological horrors spread across the landscape and evolve over time.

The creatures work together as part of an interconnected ecosystem. The Crawl acts as the foundation—a spreading vine-like organism that serves as a spawning ground for other Vita Carnis entities. From this crawl emerge Meat Snakes and Mimics, both starting as babies and growing over time. The addon introduces a disturbing sense of progression where harmless creatures gradually become deadly threats, and passive mobs you ignore early on transform into serious dangers as they mature.

The Crawl

The Meat Snake

• Passive unless attacked first


• Spawns from the Crawl as a baby

The Mimic

• Three life stages: baby, juvenile, and adult


• Baby stage - Attacks rabbits, sheep, and cows; fears villagers and players


• Juvenile stage - Hunts villagers but still avoids players


• Adult stage - Attacks players and all other targets


• Grows every 100 seconds, faster if fed chicken


• Spawns from the Crawl

The Host of Influence

• Slow-moving entity


• Currently summons zombies


• Abilities still in development for future updates

The Harvester

• Summons ground tendrils within 20-block radius


• Tendrils damage any mob that touches them


• Won't attack other Vita Carnis family members


• Creates dangerous zones around its location


• Area denial ability forces strategic movement

The addon creates a survival experience where threats evolve over time and neglecting areas infected by the Crawl leads to increasingly dangerous situations.
