Castle Cay Map

Castle Cay is a medieval-themed island map for Minecraft Bedrock Edition set in the middle of an ocean. The island contains a settlement with castle ruins, residential houses, shops, a tavern, farm, mill, mine, lighthouse, and docks with small ships.

Settlement Layout

The map includes various buildings that make up a functional medieval village. Some structures have furnished interiors with detailed rooms, while others are exterior shells without internal decoration. The settlement spreads across the island with different zones for residential, commercial, and agricultural areas.

Key structures include the ruined castle that gives the island its name, residential housing for villagers, commercial buildings like shops and a tavern, a working farm with a mill, a mine for resource gathering, a lighthouse for navigation, and docks with moored ships. The buildings use medieval architectural styles with wood and stone construction.

Backstory and Design

According to the map's concept, a castle originally stood on the island and gave it the name Castle Cay. After the castle was abandoned, new settlers arrived and established a village around the ruins. The castle remains remain part of the landscape as a historical element of the island's past.

This is an improved version of a previously released map called The Drawing Cay. The medieval village aesthetic has been preserved but the buildings are more detailed and refined in this update. Additional decorative elements create a more complete environment for gameplay.
